Key West

What can we say about Key West, well lots really as there is definitely something there for everyone.

Nestling in the Conch Republic (a self proclaimed independent tongue in cheek state, see more here) Key West is just a little different from pretty much anywhere else.

Of course Duval street is where much of the action is, and at the end, just off Duval Street is Mallory Square, the place to be for entertainment and for those famous Key West Sunsets. Sunset in Key West – Go for the Sunset Festival and stay for the local crafters selling their wares and the street performers. Nice way to end a day here.

But when the sun goes down the Key West visitors choice really is between Party or dining or a mix of the two. There are a host of restaurants are around Mallory Square area and down Duval Street, from burgers, wings and fast food to bar dining and fine restaurants. Notable names include of course Sloppy Joes, Crabby Dicks and the Hogs Breath, plus of course Hooters, Hard Rock Cafe, La Trattoria, Margaritaville Cafe, Grand Cafe, Key West to name but a few.

Sloppy Joes. One of the more famous attractions
