Jacksonville Beach sits to the south and east of Jacksonville city itself and is a city in its own right. Located, as with Jacksonville, in Northeast Florida on the Atlantic coast.
This beachfront city is home to nearly 22,000 residents, and is well known for its beautiful beaches, delightful restaurants, luxurious hotels, and interesting activities for all ages. Jax Beach also has a great cultural scene with art festivals, museums and public parks, and an a busy and active nightlife scene.
To the north there are further beaches just a walk to the north of JAX beach. Netune and Atlantic beaches each have their own charms.
The Jacksonville Beach Seawalk Pavilion and festivals grounds are a 2 square block, set in a park like area that offers a wide range of concerts and festivals throughout the year.
The Atlantic side of Florida, often has greater surf than Florida’s west coast beaches and when the conditions are right, Jacksonville Beach can have some superb surf conditions and allied to some of the best sand around the beach is frequented by many surfers and beach goes of all abilities.
Along with all of this there is a range of shops, restaurants and of course, golf facilities, well, it is Florida – after all.
