Florida – Daytona Beach is a brand new information and visitor site for Daytona Beach and the surrounding area.
Daytona Beach is so much more than just a beach but obviously the beach is a big factor here and has been for a long time. From the early days when Daytona Beach was made famous due to the racing on the beach and using the A1A through to modern day beach users sunbathers, surfers and people watchers.
The Daytona Beach area, as with much of Florida, has a wealth of nature and wildlife with much of it crossing over between air land or water you can feel really with nature. Pelicans and Eagles fill the air along with wide range of other interesting birds, Sea Turtles nesting on the beaches and dolphins in the sea are just some of the wildlife attractions you can regularly see in and around the area.
For those visiting Daytona Beach, there is so much to do in Daytona beach itself but Daytona Beach sits well located in the Northeast coast fo Florida with superb access to a great range of attractions, just over an hour to Orlando and all that is there such as Disney World and all that Disney has to offer through Seaworld, Islands of Adventure and all that Universal Studios and Busch has to add to the fun and games.
To the South Cape Canaveral and NASA is the one of the biggest attractions going and a great day out for adults and kids of all ages, spend a day there and you may just come back again. Coco Beach is also south of Daytona but there is much more on the coast where you can experience some of Florida and American life.
To the North St Augustine provides a great few days out. an easy drive up the coast either using I-75 or even better up the A1A along the coast road is a very pretty drive.
St Augustine is steeped in History both for early America, the Spanish era and early Florida with much influence from Henry Flagler.
